GENERAL CONDITIONS
Wood Story’s Terms and Conditions are as follows:
- PRICES: The prices indicated in Wood Story’s catalogues, prospectuses and price lists are given as an indication and are not binding.
- COMPLAINTS: Complaints must be made in writing within 8 days of the invoice date. After this period, they will no longer be admissible. In the event of a justified complaint, Wood Story’s liability is limited to the replacement of defective products. However, no claim will be accepted if the products have been manipulated or modified by the customer. A credit note can only be obtained with the written consent of Wood Story.
- PAYMENT: Payment of Wood Story invoices is made in cash, either in cash or by check, without discount.
- LATE PAYMENT: In the event of late payment, interest of 1% per month will automatically be due without prior notice. In addition, a penalty of 10% of the invoice amount, with a minimum of €25.00, will be applied.
- DELIVERY: Delivery times will only begin after receipt of a complete and valid order. If the delivery is not made within the agreed deadlines, the customer must send a written formal notice within the following 5 days. If the delivery is not made within the month following the formal notice, Wood Story will be liable for the damage suffered by the customer, within the limit of 10% of the total price of the late order. Wood Story will not be held responsible for the delivery time in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control.
- GUARANTEES: The guarantees granted by Wood Story are those given by its factories and suppliers, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
- LITIGATIONS: In the event of litigation, the Courts of the Judicial District of Brussels will have sole jurisdiction.
- RETENTION OF OWNERSHIP: Ownership of the goods will only be transferred to the buyer after full payment of the invoice.
- APPLICABLE LAW: The General Conditions of Wood Story are governed by Belgian law.
